ULTRAMAN FLORIDA 2019

Thank you message and race report about my first Ultras (My 28 months in Triathlon.)

Despite flipping over in a bike crash and facing road mishaps from stage 1. Wounds & Pain cannot stop me to conquer and finish the race that tested my physical and mental limits - Ultraman Florida (10km Swim/423km Bike/84.4km Run)

In 10K Swim: I am in my best pace until 6.5km (2:00min/100m), stopped every 30mins to hydrate, but got really tired and pace started to slow down after 7km and encountered current in the lake, garmin recorded 11km)

In the Bike Leg: I got a bicycle crash, bleeding, wounds and pain all over my body in stage 1 and felt the pain till stage 2, got little disappointment, but still able to give my best shot (35-37kph) in the last 2hrs in Stage 2 to avoid the cut off. 

In Stage 3 Double Marathon: It was just nice and easy pace 7-8min/km alot of walk and jog but was able to run 6-6:30min/km in the last 10K in controllable breathing. It was really hot at noon and I hate the clay road which is like more than 30km 😂

33rd Overall out of 45 participants.
6th in Age Group
